MECHANICAL DESIGNER II
In this position, you will provide mechanical design services for a variety of clients. Clients will include midstream oil and gas, industrial and commercial. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and construction personnel. Provide CAD drawings from conceptual design to completed engineering.In this role you will…
- Provide piping design for a variety of clients. Work directly with the lead piping designer as well as lead engineers during the development of the drawing packages.
- Develop the design and construction documents, including PFD's, P&ID's, plans and sections, piping drawings, details, isometrics, and bill of materials.
- Ensure that cost, customer service, quality, schedule and safety considerations are incorporated into the design from commencement through completion.
- Address questions and issues during construction.
- Proactively work on best practices, internal procedures, and maintaining internal and external networks to be informed of new developments in the field.

- Previous piping design/drafting experience is required (3-6 years).
- Past experience including diverse experience and a variety of project types.
- The ability to plan, organize and communicate with team members and client representatives.
- The ability to work extended hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD version 2024 and CADWorx2023 and Navisworx 3D piping software.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS SharePoint.
- Experience with Plant 3D and Autodesk Revit software is a plus.
